Jeanie began her career as a licensed agent in 1986 while living in Raleigh.  In 1988 she earned her CISR designation.  In 1996 she moved back “home” and began working with several agencies in Wilson and the surrounding area.  In 2014 she earned the prestigious AFIS (Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist) designation and in 2015 the CBIA designation from Builders’ Mutual.  For the past 11 years, she has worked as an account manager with producer, John T Smith.  She is married to Freddie Barnes and lives in Wilson with their two “children”, Lily Belle and Annie Rose.  Her hobbies include music, decorating specialty cakes, and cooking for family and friends.  She and Freddie attend the Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church and is active in the church choir.  Her motto is “Life is not a Dress Rehearsal – Live it to its’ fullest”.

Beth has been in the insurance industry since 1990. She is a licensed property and casualty agent. She joined Standard Insurance in 2001 as a Commercial  Account Manager Assistant. Her primary focus is on Commercial Claims and Certificate of Insurance. She thrives on providing fast, accurate, and outstanding customer service to the agency clients. She is currently working on her CBIA designation (Certified Builders Insurance Agent), and plans to pursue her CISR designation in the near future. She currently resides in Raleigh and has 2 grown children. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, exercising, exploring greenways, 5Ks, spending time at the beach, and traveling out West. She is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and participates in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Annual Fundraiser.

Kristin joined Standard Insurance in September 2008 as our agency receptionist and received her Property Casualty license in 2009. Once licensed, Kristin became an account manager for our Personal Lines Department. Constantly growing, she obtained Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2013. Later that year, she was moved to our Commercial Lines Department . In this position, Kristin demonstrated her abilities and was promoted to Commercial Lines Account Manager in May of 2016. 

Kristin resides in Dortches with her husband Jake, and their three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, both at the beach and the mountains, and volunteering for school events for their children. Kristin hopes to work toward her CPCU designation in the future.

Dawn has been in the insurance business since 1997 and a licensed agent since 2000. She joined Standard in January of 2003 as a Customer Service Agent. In 2005, Dawn moved into a sales position, focusing on Commercial and Personal Insurance. Dawn earned her CBIA (Certified Builders Insurance Agent) designation in 2011.  She has served as President's Council Ambassador for the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer for the Rocky Mount Area United Way. Dawn enjoys spending quality- “unplugged” time with her daughter and husband.

Caitlin Wooten joined Standard Insurance in early 2009 as a Customer Service Assistant, and obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance License in August of that same year. She earned her CBIA (Certified Builders Insurance Agent) designation in 2012.  Caitlin hopes to work toward her CISR designation in the future. Currently, she lives in Newport, NC with her husband Brent and two daughters - Harper & Kennedy. In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach and playing volleyball.
