Hospitality providers have always been able to tie success to their ability to deliver exceptional levels of guest services.
While this remains true today, what has not stayed constant is what is required to address the growing expectations of
guests. The Hospitality Industry is increasingly turning to communications technology to proactively address guest requirements for convenient, personal and effective service while driving occupancy rates and improved bottom line performance. Standard provides insurance cover for a wide variety of businesses in the hospitality industry including backpacker hostels, hotels, motels, resorts, nightclubs, strata, restaurants, boarding houses and tour guides.

Standard Insurance provides:

• Property

• Business Interruption

• Crime / Employee Dishonesty

• General Liabililty

• Umbrella Liability

• Liquor Liability
Most all Comprehensive General Liability (CGL) policies include coverage for Host Liquor Liability. Host Liquor Liability
is liability for bodily injury or property damage arising from an alcohol related incident. Coverage is provided except
under the following conditions:

• Causing or contributing to the intoxication of any person;
• The furnishing of alcoholic beverages to a person under the legal drinking age or under the influence of alcohol; or
• Any statute, ordinance or regulation relating to the sale, gift, distribution or use of alcoholic beverages.

If your business is involved in selling alcoholic beverages, we suggest separate Liquor Liability Coverage for an
additional premium.

• Employee Benefit Plans

• Worker's Compensation

• Business Auto

We highly recommend that you sit down with one of our experienced account executives to discuss your specific
needs, after which we will provide a detailed insurance strategy and quote for your business.
