George joined Standard Insurance in 2008 and operates from our new office in Nags Head.
George has lived on the Outer Banks since 1987. George has been a licensed insurance
agent since 1987 as both a Property & Casualty, and a Life & Health Agent.

George graduated with honors from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with A Bachelor
of Professionals Aeronautics degree, and served in the U.S. Army as an Air Traffic Controller.
George is a charter member and director of the First Flight Rotary Club, Outer Banks Chamber
volunteer, American Red Cross volunteer, Relay for Life volunteer, Air Force Auxiliary trained
observer and emergency services card holder.

George’s leisure activities include skeet and sporting clay shooting, scuba diving, flying,
swimming, fishing, boating and long walks on the beach. As an indoor activity and creative
release she enjoys working with stained glass. George and her husband John, happily
reside in Nags Head.
