in 1952, and I joined the company in 1982. I focus on property and liability insurance to
individuals, families and businesses. "

Buckley has been a licensed Property and Casualty Agent since he joined the agency in 1982.
He graduated from the United States Fidelity & Guaranty's (USF&G) School of Insurance in 1985.
In addition to a Property & Casualty license, Buckley is a licensed insurance and real estate broker.

Buckley graduated high school from Rocky Mount Academy and received his BS in Business
Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is Past President of Benvenue Country Club, Big Brothers/
Big Sisters, The Rocky Mount Merchant's Association, Nash Community College Foundation, the
Frederick E. Turnage Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Rocky Mount Area United Way.
He is currently President of the Rocky Mount Community Foundation and a former board member of
The Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce and the Rocky Mount Community / Futrell-Mauldin Fund.
Buckley has served on an agents advisory council for Companion Insurance Companies and
currently serves on councils for Builders Mutual and MetLife Home & Auto Insurance Companies.

Buckley enjoys travel, snow skiing, golf, fishing, and spending time on the coast at Nags Head, NC.
He has 3 daughters.
